Ogg is far more superior in quality than Mp3. It's a pity not every hardware producer supports it.
You can download directshow filter for this format right here on this page (go for "Ogg codecs for Windows") so that you can play this format from Media player if you desire. WinAmp supports this format natively.

That does not mean that i ain't doing anything in the background.
I have a lot of good starts or progress but with most starts i get stuck pretty soon.
For a small six songs i've created a sneak preview so that you can listen to what i'm busy with in the background.
(Mixing is ofcourse not optimised and some instruments needs tuning or different combinations of sounds / harmonisation.)

Guess what?, i ordered some new gear to expand my pc.
So i hope i can produce my songs in a normal way without having to use trickery to save CPU time.
It also mixes very badly when having to use those tricks.
Keep your eyes open and your ears waiting.

The Beat-Battle contest-results are out some time already. There were lots of very nice entries in there. Have look for yourself (you need to register an account to download and you need to have Renoise installed).
I have had no time taken to render my entry into an mp3 yet as i'm also busy with a lot of background stuff on Renoise.
There are a few tweaks i have to make to the song and then i can post this cute kids-song online.
I had a good opportunity to gather a huge list of blog-spam ip addresses so i could manage to create a blocklist (and a function that voids spammers as b2 did not had a spam-protection module).
So the comment-spam and prank spam hopefully will die out one day.
Anyway posted links won't be pageranked and in known cases not shown at all.
Also spam related keywords take care the whole comment gets censored.
I've pulled up the agression method against spam-posts that even slip-throughs may be censored as well.

A lot of work but you can now actively give comments or critics to the work.
I won't change any of the older works, but the newer ones i may edit or remix if i think i have the knowledge to improve it more than it currently is.
I use this Blog actually in an unnatural way as some categories are not really meant to have lots of logs, but it works anyway.
Actually i see a little humor in using a dead blog project the wrong way....
Currently i've entered the BeatBattle IV contest. As i'm part of the team, i'm not entitled to win anything so this is just for the fun and learning curve.
If you feel you're up to it, you can register for an account, download the package and download a copy of the Renoise Demo as well, else you won't be able to listen to it.
I'm still attempting to patch it up so when it's fully finished, i'll post the MP3 edition here as well.
What's up with the cheezy stuff? When is the real professional stuff coming?
I may fetch some vocals from this little spot and attempt to do something with them.
I lack a few things i need which is better PC equipment (fast cpu, more RAM and faster harddisk configuration).
As soon as the ship with money comes in, i'll invest in that part but also this has no hurry at the moment.
